We understand that caring for your elders means trusting us with sensitive information about them and your family. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to our website caretavya.com, our WhatsApp and phone communications, and the services we provide. By using our website or services, or by contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.

2.Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide caring, reliable service. This may include:
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, and relationship to the elder.
- Details of the elder being cared for — their name, age, home address in Gurugram, and the help they need.
- Health and care information — relevant medical conditions, medications, mobility needs, doctor or hospital details, and care instructions, shared by you so we can support your elder safely.
- Service and communication records — messages, requests, visit updates, feedback, and our correspondence with you (including over WhatsApp).
- Payment information — billing details needed to process payments. Card or banking details are handled by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically
- Website usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
- Advertising and analytics data — interactions measured by tools such as Google and Meta, used to understand and improve our campaigns.
3.How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Arrange, coordinate, and deliver care services for your elder;
- Match a suitable, verified caregiver to your elder's needs;
- Communicate with you — including sending updates after visits;
- Respond to your enquiries made through the website, WhatsApp, or phone;
- Process payments and maintain service records;
- Improve our services, website, and customer experience;
- Measure and improve our advertising (for example, understanding which enquiries came from our ads);
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the safety of elders and caregivers.
4.Consent and legal basis
We process your personal data based on your consent and as necessary to provide the services you request from us. When you share health or care information about an elder, you confirm that you are authorised to share it with us for the purpose of arranging their care. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 12); withdrawing consent may, however, limit our ability to provide certain services.
5.How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services and as described below:
- Caregivers and team members — verified caregivers assigned to your elder receive the information they need to provide care.
- Service providers we rely on — for example, payment processors, website hosting, communication tools (such as WhatsApp), and analytics/advertising providers (such as Google and Meta), who process data on our behalf.
- Healthcare and emergency contacts — where necessary for your elder's care or in a medical emergency, we may coordinate with doctors, hospitals, or the family contacts you provide.
- Legal and safety reasons — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of any person.
6.Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly, understand how visitors use the site, and measure our advertising. These include:
- Essential cookies — needed for the website to work.
- Analytics cookies — such as Google Analytics / Google tag, which help us understand site usage.
- Advertising cookies and pixels — such as the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel, which help us measure ad performance and reach families who may benefit from our services.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the website works. For more on how these partners handle data, see Google's Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy.
7.Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and we limit access to those who need it to provide care. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to keep it accurate and up to date.
8.How long we keep your data
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.
9.Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
